Lounge, Lounge, Sparkle with @FemmeLuxe

It’s the time of year when I would classically be scouring the net for sparkly frocks, festive bling and party bling to get the festive season started.

But this year, well, it’s 2020.

It’s safe to say, that partying won’t be high up the list of December activities any more than sitting on Santas lap, work Christmas lunches or family festive reunions.

So this year, I’ve swapped up my sparkle for comfort and will be seeing the festive season in head to toe in Femme Luxe loungewear best.

I’ve been so lucky to work with Femme Luxe throughout 2020 and have found their dresses, trousers, loungewear and tops to be current, affordable and fun.

Lockdown 2.0 is the perfect time to try out some more of their current collection, safe and cosy at home in comfort and style.

I ordered the Natalia oversized tie die two piece ; a grey and white loose fit cropped sweater with matching sweatpants. Ideal for sofa snuggles and movie nights, heating on and doors closed.

The set is lightweight so not too bulky, and is smooth soft fabric which is utterly indulgent and comfy.

My second choice for the final collab of 2020 is another pair of the Lizzie cuffed joggers, this time in Dark green. In all honesty, I have lived in the grey pair I picked up in September, and could live in these tracky B’s. Perfectly teamed with a shacket or hoodie, oversized tee or if you are brave a cropped top.

At just £11.99 these won’t break the bank, and will be the perfect shade for lockdown walks in muddy puddles.

Whilst I may have opted for comfort over dazzle this Christmas, in truth, this season is far from about the sequins you adorn to have an opportunity to shine.

2020 has taught us so much about what is important; health, community, and kindness. To sparkle is to think good thoughts, find inner peace, and do good deeds.

So many people have been far less fortunate than myself this year, and it hasn’t gone missed that whilst blogging as a second job I have had the luxury of not just receiving these lovely clothes, but being paid to do so.

Therefore, the fee for this post will be donated to my local hospice, Ellenor.

There truly are more ways than one to sparkle this Christmas.
