You can stand under my Umbrella ; Susino X-brella REVIEW

It’s pretty ironic that after what has been the wettest March and April ever, the day three new brollies turned up on our doorstep, an unseasonable heat wave arrived with them. Having considered using them as a sunshade for the purpose of this review, I told myself to be patient, wait a few days and alas good old British weather did not let me down. more “You can stand under my Umbrella ; Susino X-brella REVIEW”

A night in the Museum; #Dinosnores for Grown Ups at The Natural History Museum, London

I have to start this post by getting it out there that although I’m blogging dinosnores, I wasn’t gifted this gig. Well, I was, but not in a blog sense. It was a genuine gift from a family member. Just Saying. But sometimes in life you just love something so much you genuinely want to scream about it from the rooftops right? more “A night in the Museum; #Dinosnores for Grown Ups at The Natural History Museum, London”

#Unicorn Cake Goals by Eat and Mess Bakery, Kent (Review)

Back in the early days of blogging I declined an invitation to review a personalised cake. Contemplating if I was insane to turn down free cake, I rationalised my decision based on the fact that I’m actually a bit of a cake snob.  more “#Unicorn Cake Goals by Eat and Mess Bakery, Kent (Review)”

Becoming a master brewer with Adagio Artisan Tea #giveaway

There are few things I’d say I can’t live without, but tea is probably one of them. In fact the tea paraphernalia spreads across the few items on the kitchen worktops, and we even have a whole cupboard dedicated to tea. more “Becoming a master brewer with Adagio Artisan Tea #giveaway”

Awful Auntie Live: Introducing children to the theatre #AwfulAuntie @_AwfulAuntie

I’d love to be able to tell you that I could remember my first ever experience of theatre. But actually, I can’t really remember at all. Whilst we certainly weren’t regulars to the west end as kids, I do remember by my teens I’d seen a couple of big musicals and was a big fan of the dazzling lights of the theatre.  I always wanted to (and never did) see Cats, and Starlight express, and it took me a few years to cross off Grease, The Lion King, Phantom and Les Mis (which remains my favourite to this day). more “Awful Auntie Live: Introducing children to the theatre #AwfulAuntie @_AwfulAuntie”

Tomy Games Review & #ScrewballScramble #GIVEAWAY

Board games were a huge part of my childhood. The hours spent trying to thrash my brother at hungry hippos and ‘Feed the clowns’ are some of my most vivid memories of playing at home. Learning to cheat at monopoly, never quite understanding the game of life, and the squeals of laughter as we tried and failed to beat each other at Mouse trap.  more “Tomy Games Review & #ScrewballScramble #GIVEAWAY”

DIY Washing Machine Service with Dr. Beckmann (REVIEW)

When you think about your home appliances, there is probably only one you could truly not live without. I mean, dishwasher, oven, microwave, tumble drier…there have probably been times you’ve managed fine (ish) without one. But imagine your life minus your washing machine. Cold sweats? Cue images of being knee deep in laundry by the end of day one, and up to your neck by day seven… more “DIY Washing Machine Service with Dr. Beckmann (REVIEW)”
