Is it coarse, dry, or brittle? Do you tend to get greasy hair quick quickly or does it lack a certain shine to it? Wash Your Hair The Right Way

When it comes to washing your hair, make sure you wash it the right way. Yep, there’s a right way to washing your hair. Firstly, you want to apply a small amount of shampoo to your hair, really working it deep into the scalp, and try to focus on this area for the most part. Brushing your hair, especially with one that pulls on your roots is going to lead to more breakage in general. Therefore, it’s always best to let your hair dry first naturally or by blow-drying it.

Heat protecting your hair is something that’s really important when it comes to styling it. The reason for this is that your hair can burn when exposed to too much heat and often enough these style tools are hundreds of degrees. Just like your skin if you sit out in the sun for too long, it burns. A good recommendation is to wash your hair 2-3 times a week. Any more than that and it could start to impact the quality of your hair. 

In order to prevent your hair from looking greasy in the days in between, you could always use a dry shampoo. This can end up drying out the oil in your hair but perhaps choose one that’s not too drying for your hair either. If you’ve got a habit of washing your hair too often, then you will certainly notice a difference when you shift to washing your hair fewer times.

Eat The Right Foods For Your Hair’s Appearance

The food that you put into your body can certainly have an effect on how healthy your hair appears. There are certain food types that work well in keeping your hair‘s appearance shiny and healthy. Some of these foods include eggs, spinach, nuts, avocados, and sweet potatoes, as well as fatty fish. Of course, the more you can incorporate these foods into your diet, the better your hair will be for it.
