Back in the day, pre-kids, I loved a festival – especially it was a one dayer so I could wake up the next day in the comfort of my bed. It’s something we’ve talked about doing with the kids, as more and more family friendly festivals pop up all over the capital and destinations out in the sticks. A fantastic summer day out with Music, friends and smiles all round. And maybe, one day, we’ll be rocking out at Glasto with our girls…it’s the dream right?!
As yet, we haven’t managed it (unless you count the festival themed party last year) but it’s definitely on our family bucket list.
On the 27th May, a brand new family festival is springing up in my home, Kent; GIG FOR LIFE. It’s not just a fun packed family day out at The Hop Farm, it’s also a fundraiser for an incredible cause close to all of our hearts; Cancer Research UK. All profits will be going towards finding that cure for cancer that we so desperately need. It’s also celebrating all the happy endings and stories of survival, because thankfully, there are so many happy endings.
The festival will be going off on Saturday May 27th 2017 at The Hop Farm, in Maidstone Kent. Early Bird tickets are already on sale, with a 10% discount, but you’ll need to be quick as they are limited availability.
The festival has some great Musical acts already lined up: 10CC are headlining, and in addition there is going to be performances from Maverick Sabre and Toploader, plus a load of other local acts.
There will be plenty of local food to keep you and yours well fed throughout the event, and loads of family friendly activities too.
If you fancy a chance at winning a family package to go to GIG FOR LIFE 2017, you can enter via the rafflecopter below. The prize includes 2 x adult tickets, 2 x childrens tickets (under 5s go free), T shirts, Mugs, stickers and pens. The tickets are worth £200 so this really is one worth entering…
Good luck, and I’ll hopefully see you there!
I’m incredibly proud to be supporting GIG FOR LIFE here in Kent. I received no compensation for this post.
