Well the weather outside is…err, quite changeable really, but here at #CoolMumClub you lot are definitely DELIGHTFUL so let’s squeeze in another week or two of #CoolMumClub before the big shutdown for Chrimbo. Can’t wait to hear all about the gifts, the glitter, the hangovers, the meltdowns, and above all, let you lot KEEP ME SANE amidst the craziness that december serves up to us Mums!
I’m linking up this week with ‘Is being a SAHM setting a bad example to our daughters?’. A trail of thought initiated by the words of strangers and a feeling that took me a while to shake. But, like any good blog, writing is therapy and I think I’ve worked out the answer for myself. Thoughts?
I’m cranking up the Christmas mood in the second post – with Christmas jumper day fast approaching on 15th December, here’s a bit of research on the coolest kids Christmas jumpers out there.
I’m handing out my noble title of Sarah’s Fave post to the super lovely Ann, off of Rainbows are Too Beautiful. Her post ‘Why it’s good to remember times before kids‘ took me RIGHT back to Thailand, 2010. Ah the cocktails, the spontaneity, the adventure… certainly somewhat different to the Kent coast holiday cottage vacation of 2017! Beautiful memories definitely need to be celebrated from time to time.
Talya’s fave last week went to Wendy aka Naptime Natter with her appeal to remind us that true love begins with accepting ourselves, and making like Elsa...let it go girls… a must read and a fabulously inspiring, and easy to remember mantra!
As always, I’ll be pinning everything I read over (as well as the weekly best bits) on our #coolmumclub pinterest boards, so be sure to head over to my pinterest page to check out the highlights by topic, and join in with the #CoolMumClub collective parenting board.
May your bailey’s be large and your hangovers never materialise. Just keep swimming #coolmumclub, you’re almost there Mamas.
