Hey hey #CoolMumClub! Hope you all had a fabulous half term – which for us here at HQ was a two weeker which seemed to last a lifetime. In the best possible of ways though; a much needed blog break, a 7 day insta-detox, a special little girls third birthday and an incredible four days in Disneyland Paris. In all honesty, I didn’t want it to end…
Seeing as I’m brimming with excitement about our Disney trip (far more than the kids during the big reveal moment), I’ve blogged it up in my first linked post: Disneyland Paris; A parent’s survival guide. It might be helpful to know all the nitty gritty, the good the bad and the ugly on taking two small kids to the magic kingdom.
Also this week we spent under an hour transforming our eldest daughters bedroom with the help of PIxers – find out how we got on with our 60 minute makeover and prepare to be wowed by the simplicity, quality and impact of their vinyl wall products. Peter Andre eat your heart out.
My fave last week was 15 Things that happen to a working parent by A Mum at Work. This post took me right back to my days in the office when Tigs was small and the Mouse was a figure of our imaginations…those days seem such a distant memory but reading this brought it all back in an instant! High five to all the working parents.
Talya was loving our one and only Fi off of Beauty Baby and Me with ‘My body, my choice, my birth’. A fierce post about a mothers right to access the delivery she wants for her child, and for herself.
Talya is sharing her two posts this week To the mummy who shouted at her child and Blogging tips: 6 things to do when you’ve got writer’s block.
As always, I’ll be pinning everything I read over (as well as the weekly best bits) on our #coolmumclub pinterest boards, so be sure to head over to my pinterest page to check out the highlights by topic, and join in with the #CoolMumClub collective parenting board.
Fab to be back 🙂
