HEY YOU! Oh it’s good to be back! After an incredibly long six…no seven (!) week break from running the #coolmumclub linky, Talya and I are back and frankly totally over the summer holiday break. Time to get back to a bit of normality and pick up where we left off with our gorgeous little bubble right here with you lovely lot.
I hope your summer was filled with all things good, and that you, like me, have the bug to get the next chapter underway…a new school year, a fresh season to have that wonderful feeling of change in, and plans for an exciting Autumn.
But enough with all that waffle, let’s get on with the show, so it’s over to you, bloggers old and new to show us what you got, and tell us exactly what you’ve been up to whilst we’ve been apart. Can’t wait!
Oh, and we’re also sporting a slightly spruced up version of the old badge, all shiny and new for the fresh school year.
This week I’m linking up with My ‘I’m going to #BML’ post, announcing my fabulous sponsor, LiteCup. A brand I’ve adopted for life, not just for #BML, since my review earlier this year. Have a read and do let me know if you’re going too! (I’ll be the one with the glowing Disco Cup ;-))
Post #2 this week is ‘Will bedtime ever be the same again?’ a nod to the end of summer trauma a few of you are probably facing right about now. How long is it going to take to undo the carefree ways of the Summer, and will we ever get to watch TV in peace post 8pm again?
My favourite post from the pre-summer shutdown was Five Little Doves and her incredibly beautiful and poignant letter to her little boy Joseph, on what would have been his 11th birthday. Even now, seven weeks on it gives me goosebumps remembering what she shared in that post. Laura is an incredible inspiration to so many parents who have experienced loss, and her ability to write so openly about her son is something truly special.
Talya, aka Motherhood the Real Deal our co-host with the most gave her ‘best in show’ prize to Back with a Bump with ‘5 reasons the Daily Mail Sucks’.
Talya is back with a bang and linking up two fabulous and relevant posts this week; An open letter to Instagram: how your algorithm made us fall out of love with you and Teaching children consideration in a world where it’s sometimes lacking.
As always I’ll be pinning everything I read over on our #coolmumclub pinterest boards, so be sure to head over to my pinterest page to check out the highlights by topic.
Get stuck in guys, share the love on your social media channels (you know the score) and thanks again for joining us in what will be our third Autumn of the #coolmumclub collective.
